Reunion Letters

We sent out the reunion letters today, Friday 2/27/2009. If you know someone who did not get a letter please let me know, so that I can get one to them or direct them to this web sight and they can leave me a comment.
If you are wanting to leave a comment on this web sight here is the way to do that. Click on the word "comment" at the bottom of this post. This will pop up a window for you to type in your comment. After you type your comment, make sure that you sign your full name at the bottom of your comment, so that we will know who you are. Then there are several choices before you can publish your comment, like "blogger name, Anonymous, and others. Click on the one that says "Anonymous" and then click publish post. This will allow your comment to be posted.
I would like for everyone who can to use this sight to leave your updated information and to let us know if you are coming to the reunion. This will make it some what easier for us. But feel free to send back the letter with your information on it if you do not wan to use this sight.
The letters state that we need to hear from you by May 1st if you are coming to the reunion or not, and also any directory updates. We are having the directories printed by an outside source after May 1, so it is very important that we hear from you by this date. Also we must let Ceta canyon know about how many are coming. If we do not hear from you we will assume that you are not coming.
I will leave updated posts on this web sight from time to time to let you know about what is going on. So be sure to check back every once in a while. Reunion 2009

The Howell Reunion for 2009 is set for June 27Th and 28Th, at Ceta Canyon. We will be sending out letters later so be expecting one soon.

I created this blog for our family members to come to and comment, and let us know if you plan on coming to the reunion or not. For you that are not use to a blog, to comment just click on "comment" at the end of the post and type in your comment. This might be an easier way for us to communicate to each of you. I will post updates on the reunion that you can check on from time to time.

A few things that I need each of you to do for us.

1) Make sure that you communicate to your immediate family members about the reunion. In the past we have sent out letters to everyone in the directory, but as you know we have a very large family. Sometimes these letters get lost in the mail, go to wrong address that sort of thing and we don't know about it. We want to make sure that EVERYONE knows about the reunion. So if you get a letter of read this blog, let your immediate family member know about both, so we don't leave anyone out.

2) We need directory updates: If you have changed your address, phone number, or your name, or have had an addition or subtraction to your family, please let me know. You may mail to me or you may leave your updates here on the comment section of this blog. Please let me know about these changes at least 1 month before the reunion, so that we will have time to get the books printed.

3) Start looking for auction Items: As you know our auction is part of what keeps our reunion going. This enables us to help each of you with the cost of the reunion and that sort of thing. So please start thinking about what you can bring to the auction.

That is all that I can think of right now. We are all looking forward to the reunion. It's really great to be able to get together with everyone. I thank each of you for your support of the reunion, and I know that the 2009 reunion will be the best ever. Notice that my e-mail is also posted on this blog.
